• At 11:34 a.m., Sunday, Sept. 3, a KCSO unit was dispatched to a Snyder Road address in reference to a hit-and-run accident. Complainant said he was walking to his rental car, a 2022 Chevrolet Malibu, from his hotel room when he observed damage on the rear bumper. Complainant walked to the front office, where he watched video surveillance and observed a red, unknown make and model vehicle back into his rental car and leave the area. No damage amount was listed.
• At 5:26 p.m., Sept. 3, a KCSO unit responded to the intersection of Grigsby Chapel and Fretz roads. Victim said she had been traveling westbound on Grigsby Chapel when a vehicle suddenly pulled out in front of her from Fretz Road. Victim said she swerved in order to avoid a collision, which caused her to strike the center median. This resulted in both front tires of her 2012 Hyundai Genesis becoming flat. Her vehicle was pushed into a nearby parking lot. Value of loss was listed at $150.
• On Friday Sept. 1, officers responded to the West Precinct, 11429 Parkside Drive, in reference to a simple assault. Victim advised he was at home speaking to multiple friends on a group chat application called Discord. He advised that his long-time friend threatened him saying “gonna kick your a--,” and “want to see some blood run on the pavement?” Victim advised suspect has threatened others on the group chat on prior occasions. Victim advised he was in fear of bodily harm, also advising he has saved screenshots of the messages.
