• I would like to thank the Town of Farragut for doing a great job organizing the (Town meeting with citizens) Monday, Sept. 25, in reference to purchasing 55 acres of land, with an additional 15 acres being donated to (possibly) expand McFee Park. It was a good turnout.
(Editor’s note: much of the rest of this editorial was inaudible due to technical difficulties, although the caller can be understood to say residents along McFee Road near this site should be heard first and foremost in terms of Town officials making a final decision on the matter, which is expected to happen Thursday, Oct. 26, during the Farragut Board of Mayor and Aldermen meeting. We apologize about this technical/audio issue, and we are working to correct the problem)
• There are homeless people sleeping (in public places in the Farragut area). You can go by and see homeless people sleeping (in one Farragut location) from 7 o’clock in morning, or even earlier, to 8:30 in the morning, or later. I’m wondering what can be done about this (inaudible thereafter).
