farragutpress production team of Christen-Wilfert garner 32 TPA Ad Awards; 170 in 5 years
Led by the talents of Production Department manager Tony Christen and graphic designer Cindy Wilfert, along with Advertising Manager Charlene Waggoner and Account Executive Laura Sayers, farragutpress added to their Tennessee Press Association advertising awards — for a fifth consecutive year garnering what now totals 170 awards — during the recent 2023 TPA Awards ceremony (based on work from 2022). This year’s haul was 32, eight of which were first place.
“I’m proud of what we have accomplished in five years with 170 awards. You never know if the previous year is the last time that you will be recognized for your work,” Christen said. “So it’s an honor each year.
“This year was truly special for me; most of what was submitted and those that won were designed mostly by my colleague, Cindy Wilfert,” he added. “She is just a truly remarkable talent and extremely capable graphic designer. It was very special to see her work shine.”
“It is an honor every year to see the recognition received for the graphics team at farragutpress,” Waggoner said. “As account executives we work hard to make advertising with us convenient and a good investment.
“Knowing that we have an award-winning graphics team that can not only make an outstanding ad, but also put together eye-catching and resourceful magazines and special sections allows us to give our clients everything they deserve,” she added. Categories and results ...
