Kixsity opens at Parkside
Co-owners Clinton Condry and Blake Crwley opened Kixsity in late September at 10670 Parkside Drive, Suite 105, behind Wasabi Japanese Restaurant near Lovell Road.
Condry has been in the shoe sales business since 1999, selling on e-bay and other online portals.
However, “I’ve always wanted a brick-and-mortar (store),” he said.
When the location off Parkside Drive came open, Condry Crwley contacted the owners and “it just worked out.
“Plus, there’s nothing like this down in this area of Farragut/West Knoxville,” Condry added. “I think the closest thing similar to us is at West Town Mall.
“We buy, sell, trade here. We just get them online … and people sell to us, and we buy from wholesalers as well.
As for traffic, “Weekends are our best times so far,” he said. “The evenings and weekends are our bread and butter.”
Regarding inventory, “the slides are real popular with kids – teenagers,” Condry said.
Kixsity is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday; from noon to 7 p.m., Sundays; and closed Mondays.
