• At 8:50 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 26, a complainant called Knox County Sheriff’s Office Teleserve Unit to report a burglary of his 2006 Nissan 350Z. The vehicle broke down in front of a tire shop and bystanders helped him move his car into that shop to see what was wrong with it. Complainant said several items were taken out of his center console. Total value of loss was listed at $1,060.
• At 12:57 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 29, a complainant called KCSO Teleserve Unit to report a burglary to his 2021 Honda Accord Hybrid at Kroger, 189 Brooklawn St. Complainant advised he last saw his wallets at Kroger, but advised he did not discover it was stolen until he received fraudulent charge alerts and could not locate his wallets.
He advised an unknown suspect entered the locked vehicle and took various items without permission. He advised no damage was observed to the vehicle. Complainant “advised he needed to make a list of his stolen credit cards, fraudulent charges, gift cards and advised there were 20-to-30 credit cards in total,” the report stated. Total value of loss was listed at $30.
• At 11:20 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 28, a complainant called KCSO Teleserve Unit to report a 2010 Honda CR-V was burglarized at Anchor Park, 11730 Turkey Creek Road in Farragut. Complainant advised he noticed the wallet missing from the glove box when he returned to his vehicle from a walk in the park. Complainant advised he did not notice any damage to the interior of the vehicle. He said he didn’t know who burglarized his vehicle. Value of loss was listed at $375 — $300 of that in cash.
• At 7:28 p.m., Oct. 28, a complainant called KCSO Teleserve Unit to report vehicle burglary from Founders Park at Campbell Station, 405 N Campbell Station Road. Complainant advised an unknown suspect gained access to the unlocked 2020 Honda Accord and stole various items. He said multiple attempted charges of an unknown total amount were made to different credit cards. He said he has called his banks to freeze the accounts and to reverse any made charges.
• At 12:25 a.m., Oct. 28, a complainant called KCSO Teleserve Unit to report a theft of a purse at Cotton Eyed Joe’s, 11220 Outlet Drive. Complainant advised she went to retrieve her bag, but it was not where she placed it.
Complainant advised there is an Apple airtag attached to the listed key fob to track location. Complainant said she does not know who took her purse. Total value of loss was listed at $691, including a $300 Apple iPhone and a $200 Toyota key fob.
