• Dr. Valeriya Korchina, D.O., recently joined Tennova Healthcare’s Turkey Creek Medical Center Tennova Primary Care-West Hills location. Korchina received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Iowa and completed her residency with McLaren St. Luke’s Family Medicine Residency in Perrysburg, Ohio.

She is accredited with the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians.

• University of Tennessee Medical Center and UT Athletics honored the legacy of late coach Pat Summitt with a special commemorative cup, which was available for purchase at concessions stands benefitting Alzheimer’s research Saturday, Nov. 4, when the Vols Football team hosted UConn for Homecoming in Neyland Stadium.

• UTMC recently was awarded a place in Newsweek’s list of America’s Best Cancer Hospitals 2023. This award is presented by Newsweek and Statista Inc.
