Thousands lined West End Avenue and the path to Farragut High School Sunday afternoon, Dec. 10, to witness the Town’s 2nd Annual Christmas Parade.
The event started with Santa’s Village at FHS, offering vendors’ booths, areas where children could decorate cookies and food at several food trucks.
Starting at 4 p.m., Boy Scout Troop 444 headed the parade, which included 45 participants from “floats” to vehicles to walkers.
Farragut Schools’ sports teams; grand marshals Bobby Scott, former University of Tennessee star quarterback, and Jeff Hall, UT standout ex-place-kicker on the 1998 National Championship football team; Grinches and Santa also were among the featured participants.
The event was organized by a group of 17 women volunteers.
