Bouncing back: Concord Marina’s D Dock
“We’re relieved to report that nobody was injured,” Cheyney stated in a press release. “Safety is, and will remain, our number one priority.
“Today, our dedicated crews continued their efforts to clean up and remove the damaged dock section and began strategically removing accumulated snow and ice where necessary to enhance overall safety and stability,” he stated Friday morning, Jan. 19, in an e-mailed statement to farragutpresss.
“We’re also pleased to report that our teams have confirmed there are no disruptions to the electrical service and power remains on to all docks,” Cheyney added. “Our crews are working diligently to expedite the cleanup and repair process.
“We understand the impact on your marina access, and we do sincerely appreciate your ongoing cooperation. Please feel free to reach out with any immediate concerns. Your safety and satisfaction remain our top priorities.”
Marina manager James Bisch said that while some boats were damaged, none sunk. No timetable was given for beginning the rebuilding process, and no dollar amount of damage was estimated.
