• At 6:20 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 18, a Knox County Sheriff’s Officer unit responded to a disturbance at Hampton Inn & Suites, 11340 Campbell Lakes Drive. Upon arrival, officers made contact with complainant/witness.
Suspect “was in the lobby yelling at his girlfriend and was causing a disturbance in the hotel,” the report stated. Victim said she wanted suspect trespassed from the property. Officers advised suspect he was being trespassed from the property.
Suspect said “he understood he was being trespassed, gathered his belongings and left the property without incident,” the report stated.
• At 8:08 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 14, a KCSO unit was dispatched to First Bank, 11820 Kingston Pike, for a business alarm. Upon arrival the officer checked all of the exterior doors and windows, reporting all were locked — and there appeared to be no break-in signs.
• At 12:47 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 13, a KCSO unit responded to a Farmgate Lane residence in reference to a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, officers made contact with victim/complainant, who said his “home alarm was triggered by someone entering his office through an exterior door,” the report stated. Victim said he noticed his belongings were scattered around his office, but nothing was missing that he could notice. The suspect was not located.
• At 4:54 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 11, a complainant called KCSO Teleserve Unit to report a vehicle burglary from a Farragut business along Kingston Pike. An unknown suspect stole items, with a total value listed at $20, from a 2011 Cadillac SRX.
The complainant’s vehicle was left at the business for a repair. “When she stopped by on her way to work to pick up her work badge, she noticed the inside of the vehicle was trashed” and the items were missing. “She was advised an unknown suspect was seen exiting the vehicle ...,” the report stated. Business employees were unable to confirm if the vehicle was left locked or unlocked.
• On Jan. 11, an officer met with an official from Cornerstone Church.
He said “a Red Jeep Wrangler with a black soft top that entered their property” at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday (Jan. 9) “went up to their soccer field, did a couple of doughnuts and then sped off,” the report stated. “They were able to get a video of the Jeep leaving the lot with a cell phone, but no plate was visible. Damage to the grass was minimal. … A check of the homes in the area did not turn up any vehicles matching that description.” Total value of damage was listed at $200.
