Beyond Salon new to Complete Suites
“I really like the creative part (of hair styling),” he said. “And, I like making people happy, so what better way to make people happy than to change the way they look.
“It’s always been a passion of mine,” Palafox-Eblen added.
As such, last month he opened Beyond Salon in Complete Suites, 12748 Kingston Pike Suite 206, in Renaissance | Farragut.
Palafox-Eblen offers hair cuts and colors for both men and women.
With hair color, “I can do anything, really,” he said.
Additionally, he offers non-surgical hair replacement, for which he was certified in December through Dreamcatchers, which provides training in hair extensions and other hair replacement.
Palafox-Eblen graduated Nov. 17 from Tennessee College of Applied Technology after moving from Cookeville to Kingston. While there, he participated in Skills USA, a partnership of students, teachers and industry, with which he took part in a competition in April 2023 and won second place.
After graduation, “I decided to open up my own shop instead of going the traditional route (of working for a salon),” Palafox-Eblen said.
He is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday; from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday; and closed Sunday and Monday.
