BOMA: vote ‘no’ to Growth Policy Plan
In response to the Letter to the Editor (last) week about the Growth Policy Plan, Northshore Drive cannot handle the traffic it has now much less more traffic from the approval of the Growth Policy Planm which will increase housing density in Choto and North Campbell Station Road outside of Farragut. Traffic from Choto comes to Farragut. We have more traffic in Farragut than we can handle.
I hope the Board of Mayor and Aldermen vote down the Growth Policy Plan. I don’t think it is well thought out and Northshore Drive, Harvey Road, Choto Road and North Campbell Station Road should not have increased housing density. It’s not fair and it is dangerous. They are unimproved rural roads.
(Having photos of an accident), the right front tire left the pavement, and the driver could not regain control of the car and hit the guard rail. No road that rural should have more housing density.
I ask the Mayor and Aldermen to stand up for all of us and vote down this unfair plan. I hope you can attend the meeting March 28 at 6 p.m. in the Farragut Community Center where the Mayor and Aldermen will make the final vote on the Growth Policy Plan.
