• Scott Greer recently was promoted to president/chief operating officer of Citizens Bank.
Greer joined the bank in 1994 and has been a key contributor to the bank’s success, according to a Citizens Bank press release.
Greer is a certified public accountant, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Tennessee Society of Public Accountants. He currently serves on the TSCPA Council, is a past chair of TSCPA Financial Institutions Committee and has served on committees of Tennessee Bankers Association.
Additionally, Greer serves on the board of Northeast State Community College Foundation and is a member of Johnson City Kiwanis Club, where he is past president, Kiwanian of the Year and a George Hixson Fellow. He also has served on he boards of various community organizations.
• Priority OnDemand has announced John Johnson recently joined the company as chief information officer.
Johnson will oversee development of information technology and control center strategy across the company’s expanding multi-tier integrated technology, information and on-demand delivery model solutions.
• Marble City Opera recently hired Frank Murphy as its managing director. He has served on the organization’s board since September, 2020.
Marble City Opera is raising money for the Brandon Gibson Memorial Endowment to ensure the continued success and sustainability of the organization.
