LongHorn Grill Master, reigning national champ, seeks repeat
Reigning Steak Master Series National Champion Kylie Hall of Lenoir City, a Grill Master at Farragut LongHorn Steakhouse, once again is headed to the final round of the annual nationwide grilling competition hosted by LongHorn Steakhouse.
Hall is one of only two female champions in the competition’s history, and she now is seeking to be the first Grill Master to win the competition two years in a row.
“After winning it all last year, I’ve had to work through my nerves and remind myself to have confidence,” Hall said. “It’s been challenging, but competing in the finals again shows that hard work pays off.”
LongHorn Steakhouse’s Steak Master Series gives LongHorn Grill Masters from across the country the opportunity to put their skills to the test, a press release stated.
Hall is one of seven finalists out of thousands of participants.
“Hall from the Farragut LongHorn Steakhouse team knows how to bring heat to the competition,” the press release said. “Her grilling expertise and passion has her on the cusp of elite grilling status once again as she prepares to compete in the final round of LongHorn Steakhouse’s 7th Annual Steak Master Series.
“She is the current reigning champion after having won the competition last year — becoming one of only two female champions in the competition’s history.”
Hall and the other six finalists will compete for a $15,000 grand prize and the title of Steak Master Series Champion on Thursday, May 2, during a one-day grill-off in Orlando, Florida.
“The Steak Master Series recognizes LongHorn Steakhouse’s commitment to quality while also celebrating the expertise of grill cooks,” a company press release stated.
