CAK’s Alig named Mr. Baseball II-A

KNOXVILLE — Though he never won a TSSAA Division II-A baseball state championship as a Christian Academy of Knoxville Warrior, Wes Alig impressed enough high school baseball pundits statewide with his enormous contributions to legendary head coach Tommy Pharr’s program dating back to 2021.

Alig, a four-year starter at shortstop, was named Division II-A Tennessee “Mr. Baseball” for 2024 after being one of three finalists, as recently announced.
