Ex-Ad, Vol Warren a repeat NFF Hampshire Honor Society member
The National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame announced earlier this spring that Jacob Warren, ex-Tennessee Vols and Farragut High School Admirals standout tight end, was one of eight UT student-athletes on a list of 1,988 players from 339 schools who qualified for NFF’s Hampshire Honor Society membership in 2024.
“Warren wrapped up a well-rounded career for the Big Orange this past fall, starting all 13 games at tight end for his sixth-year as a redshirt-senior season,” a UT press release stated. “The legacy Vol and Knoxville native is a second-year member of the NFF Hampshire Honor Society after receiving the distinction in 2023.
“He rounded out his tenure in Knoxville as a five-time SEC Honor Roll recipient and two-time CSC Academic All-District honoree who was a semifinalist for the NFF Campbell Trophy this past fall. On the field, Warren posted his best campaign in 2023 with 16 catches for 191 yards and four touchdowns.”
Warren becomes the first Vol to receive the HHS distinction twice in his career.
Nominated by their respective schools, members of the NFF Hampshire Honor Society must be either ....

And must have ...
• Attained a minimum undergraduate cumulative grade-point average of 3.2 (4.0 scale); and
• Been starters or contributors throughout the 2023 season.
Tennessee’s eight Hampshire Honor Society members in 2024 shattered the previous program record of three individuals recognized in 2018 and 2008. Twenty-six Vols have been tabbed to this Honor Society since its inception in 2007.
