In 2021, we were told that vertical mixed-use was not viable in our Town Center area because we would need a parking garage.
Now, the Town Center Vision Plan (up for vote by the Farragut Municipal Planning Commission this Thursday, June 19), includes a line item titled: “Build a municipal parking deck adjacent to Biddle Farms Development (330 spaces).”
The Town is the responsible party. Why was a parking structure not viable then but it is now? Who knew this was part of the plan?
