Points for Russell, District 5
I strongly recommend voting for Angela Russell for Knox County Commission District 5. She has great credentials, including:
• Graduated with highest honors from the University of Tennessee in accounting and obtained Tennessee State Board of Accountancy Certified Public Accountant License #10359. This equips her to understand accounting, budgets and financial management;
• Tennessee Real Estate Appraiser and Commission-certified General Real Estate Appraiser License #4236. Obtained appraisal Institute MAI designation. This gives her a better understanding of real estate, its development and its affect on our community;
• Employment experience in public accounting, private business accounting and management and real estate appraising.
• Numerous terms on subdivision HOAs and a founding member of the Northshore-Choto HOAs group. The Northshore-Choto HOAs group was formed to address road safety, lack of infrastructure, and concerns about high-density changing the character of our community;
• History of advocating for better roads;
• History of advocating for responsible development. Proven leadership and effective results in opposing Choto Landing, a proposed high-density government subsidized development. She helped author the proposed Choto Landing development opposition website (see link), raise legal funds, make phone calls, put up signage, organize multiple community meetings, and she served as legal counsel point-person. https://www.chotolanding.com
