Ex-KCHS star Thornton now at Tennessee

KNOXVILLE — Sophomore transfer Maeve Thornton, the top-ranked female high School tennis player in Tennessee her senior season at Knoxville Catholic in 2023 — and ranked No. 22 nationally — became the newest member of the University of Tennessee women’s tennis program, head coach Alison Ojeda announced recently.
