• I was disappointed in the blatant lie that there is never anyone on the tennis courts (at McFee Park). I regularly try to play tennis at McFee and the courts are always full with tennis players. I would appreciate having at least one tennis court at (Mayor) Bob Leonard (Park). I was also disappointed to hear the statement that there are no homes near Bob Leonard (Park). I live directly across from Bob Leonard, and while we are not as populated as the McFee area, there are people that will be affected and whose voices have not been heard.
• This last week the “Traffic response ...” Letter to the Editor stated that a July 24 Letter to the Editor misled the community regarding the status of the new light timing system. In that July 24 letter, the author clearly said that the optimized system is “currently being installed” on two separate occasions. Last week the other writer said, “... the Automated Traffic Management System is currently being installed and is not operational yet.” It seems both authors are saying the same thing; namely, that the system is currently being installed. Why does the second one claim the first is misleading the community?
