Knox County’s Second Saturday Concert Series wrapped up at The Cove at Concord Park the evening of Aug. 10 with Knoxville native Jeff BearCat Bunch as the featured entertainment.

The free concerts are held June through August on the second Saturday of each month. A few hundred attendees for this last 2024 series brought their own blankets and/or lawn chairs and food while adhering to the “no alcohol allowed” rule.

“According to his online biography, ‘Jeff BearCat Bunch has a deep appreciation of songwriting and storytelling craft,’” a Knox County Government press release stated. “‘With grit in his voice and wisdom in his songs, this independent and nationally touring singer/songwriter/storyteller will take you through his life throughout his songs.’”

Moreover, The Cove, 11808 S. Northshore Drive, “is the county’s most visited park,” the press release further stated.
