Farragut Intermediate School’s third-graders had quality time with their grandparents and other family members during FIS’s annual Grandparents Day at the school, 208 West End Ave., Friday, Sept. 13.

Hosted by the school’s Parent Teacher Organization, children and grandparents had lunch together.

Students also got to show their artwork, which was displayed in the cafeteria.

“Teachers did that (art project) in the classroom so grandparents could take them home,” said Amie Abrams, PTO president.

Additionally, students and family members and had their photos made together as a memento.
