New Farragut voting location; early voting Oct. 16-31
• Early voting for the federal and state elections culminating on Election Day Tuesday, Nov. 5, will take place in three Farragut/West Knox County locations Wednesday, Oct. 16, through Thursday, Oct. 31: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesdays; 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 19; and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 26; closed on Sundays:
- New Farragut location is Village Green shopping center, 11437 Kingston Pike; other West Knox County locations are:
- Downtown West, 1645 Downtown West Blvd,
Unit 40
- Hardin Valley area: Karns Senior Center, 8042 Oak Ridge Highway (special hours: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday; closed Saturday and Sunday).
Registration, offices at stake
– Monday, Oct. 7, is the final day to register to vote before Election Day.
– On the ballot are President and Vice President of the United States; U.S. Senate; U.S. House of Representatives District 2; state Senate, District 6; and state House of Representatives in District 14 and District 89 among others.
