• The residents of the townhomes of Wentworth would like to thank the Town of Farragut (Public Works) for their timely and efficient removal of a downed tree that was blocking our only street (earlier this fall).
The two-day process involved a large crew and several trucks and other equipment that are part of keeping our city running, and yet are not always observed and appreciated for being the backbone of what makes our lovely Town such a great place.
• (In Park Place subdivision) right behind Farragut Town Hall, we had some illegal solicitation (Tuesday, Oct. 2) in the neighborhood. People selling magazines under false pretense, lying to people about the previous sales.
We checked with Town of Farragut; they did not have a solicitation license, and (checked) with Knox County, they didn’t have one there, either. So maybe folks should be on the lookout for this.
