Helene help headliners include Farragut Lions filling ‘six trucks’

Farragut Lions Club — in collaboration with Pinnacle at Turkey Creek, City Wide Solutions and House Hassan Hardware Store — recently organized a successful donation drive to support communities in the Tri-Cities region affected by Hurricane Helene. “For two weeks a drop zone was set up at Regal (Pinnacle Stadium 18 IMax & RPX, 11240 Parkside Drive), where residents generously donated essential items for those in need,” a FLC press release stated. “The effort resulted in six trucks filled with supplies ... providing much-needed relief to families as they begin the recovery process. In addition to this support, “the Farragut Lions Club is proud to partner with PetSafe, a local pet-care leader, to distribute cat litter to shelters and affected regions.

We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support from our community and our partners,” said Ashley Lynch, FLC member (third from right beside FLC president Tyler Hunsaker, both in Lions vests among a host of FLC contributors also including Tom Nitz, second from left).

“... The success of this drive would not have been possible without the dedication of Pinnacle at Turkey Creek, City Wide Solutions, House Hassan Hardware Store and the many residents who donated. It is heartwarming to see our community come together in times of need.” To get involved in future initiatives, follow Farragut Lions on social media.
