MAC tourney 2nd-place for Farragut 6th-G
“I’m proud of this group, we’ve been together about four years now,” Farragut head coach Jay Garrett said. “I’m excited for the continuity that this team has — they’re building a future.
“They play fast, they give us all that they’ve got four days a week,” he added. “They come out and execute well in the game. We just came up a little bit short today.
“It’s a pleasure to coach this team.”
Farragut earned its title game trip after beating Halls 14-2 in the semifinals Sunday, Oct. 27, at Austin-East High.
