Christian Academy of Knoxville recently celebrated the grand opening of its new Christian Life Center (top, above and left) with a ribbon-cutting and dedication ceremony. “This state-of-the-art facility is designed to enrich the spiritual lives of CAK students and families while supporting their academic growth,” a CAK press release stated.

This CLC includes a spacious auditorium (left), which is “equipped with the largest digital wall of any school in the Southeastern region, measuring 18-(feet by)-48-(feet),” the release further stated. “This versatile feature will be used for fine arts performances, presentations, digital backgrounds and musical theater scenery.

“The new facility will host weekly chapel services, STEM competitions, spelling bees, Robotics events and other spiritual and academic activities, advancing CAK’s mission of providing an excellent, Christ-centered education.”

“‘Our Building His Masterpiece’ campaign has always been about leading and growing our CAK community into a deeper relationship with Christ,” said Rich Fulford, CAK Head of School, during the ceremony. “The opening of the CLC is the final piece that will allow our students to use their gifts and talents to honor Him in an even greater way. I cannot begin to explain how excited our Board and Leadership team is to present this new facility to the entire CAK community.

“Thank you for joining us in making this possible.”
