KCSO reports

• At 11:35 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 1, a complainant called Knox County Sheriff’s Office Teleserve Unit to report a motor vehicle theft at a North Campbell Station Road address. Complainant advised he last saw his locked 2010 Cadillac DTS at 9 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 28, when the vehicle became disabled.

Complainant advised he scheduled to have it towed on Monday, Dec. 2, back to his residence. He said there were not any keys in the vehicle and does not know who might have committed the crime.

• At 12:51 a.m., Friday, Nov. 29, a complainant called KCSO Teleserve Unit to report a financial exploitation of the elderly from a Southwick Circle residence.

Complainant said she “spoke with the suspect regarding her winning $7.5 million and (she) needed to pay fees prior to receiving the money,” the report stated.

“She sent the suspect money on three different occasions. She pulled money out of her bank account and purchased Vanilla gift cards and provided the suspect with the card numbers.”

• At 4:55 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 30, a KCSO unit responded to Costco, 10745 Kingston Pike, in response to a shoplifting. A witness said he had seen (the suspect) “taking items and removing tags on camera,” the report stated.

Witness intervened when the suspect “left the store and (had taken) $63.97 worth of merchandise.” Suspect, who “admitted to taking the merchandise,” was issued a misdemeanor citation and a criminal trespass warning for Costco.
