Faith Lutheran Church again treated the community to its annual Cookie Walk & Craft Sale, which took place in the church, 225 Jamestowne Blvd., Saturday, Dec. 7. In all, members made and sold 750 dozen (9,000 cookies), said Darla Berdal, tri-chair of the cookie walk with Joanne Sills and Carol Nanney. Nanney said there were 22 vendors selling crafts at the event.

While many shopped the crafts, waiting for their turn around the cookie tables, others chose their favorite cookies when their numbers were called.

“Words just don’t describe what people do” to support the event, Berdal said.

“We just ask and they do it. I had non-members — neighbors and co-workers of members — make cookies.

We just trust He’s going to take care of everything, and we have enough,” she added. “It truly is an amazing event. It’s humbling.”
