About 250 people came to Farragut Community Center to check out Dixie Lee Farmers Market’s indoor winter market, which took place Saturday morning, Jan. 4.

This was the second indoor market for Dixie Lee Farmers Market. From fresh meat to handmade soaps, the market drew vendors as far as Middle Tennessee.

With 28 vendors, “we’re pretty much to capacity,” said Jeff Cannon, co-owner/founder of DLFM. “This has gone over very well. The demand has grown for year-round local produce and products, and we were lucky we were able to procure this space to do it.

“We’ll be here almost every Saturday (from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.), through May 12,” he added.

Cannon, however, said the market will not be at the community center on the following Saturdays: Jan. 11, March 8, March 22 and April 5.

“We will go back to Renaissance | Farragut on April 19,” he said.
