While she opened her new venture Nov. 1, she has been an esthetician, doing lash extensions, for a little more than 11 years.
Shelton is three-times certified in lashes, which means she is certified in lash extension training, advanced training and another advanced training certification for volume lashes.
She specializes in lashes, but she also provides skincare and waxing services.
In the skincare line, she provides such facials as regular, anti-aging, sensitive skin, hydra and diamondglow. She also does chemical peels.
A hydro facial is a treatment that uses a device to exfoliate, cleanse, extract and hydrate the skin, according to Shelton.
“It’s new cutting edge in facials,” she said about the facial.
Whereas, she explained with Diamondglow facials, she uses a machine with a diamond-tip microderm attachment.
“It will go over your skin and take off the dead skin cells,” Shelton said. “But it’s also infusing your skin with customized, specialized serums at the same time.
“That’s kind of the way the hydrafacial works too,” she added. “It’s just not using the diamond tip.”
