Biddle SweatHouz targets end of February opening
“We’re the first in Farragut,” said Meagan MacDonald, a studio manager along with Brielle Ruhland. She expects the studio will open at the end of February “if construction goes as planned.”
MacDonald noted there is no exact opening date so far, but “we’re very excited for it.”
SweatHouz, also called SWTHZ, is a contrast therapy studio featuring infrared sauna and a cold plunge.
“It’s like a holistic approach for healing your body and also giving you the benefits without traditional medicine,” MacDonald said.
“It’s a new concept,” she added. “The space will have nine private suites. You get to reserve a suite for up to 60 minutes. You go from the infrared sauna to the cold plunge as many times as you want.
“You can personalize the whole experience. And, there’s a vitamin C shower in the suite as well. It’s what everyone is very interested in.”
“It really focuses on health and wellness, “Ruhland said. “The studio’s meant to give a lot of people, like, ‘me time.’”
There will be a soft opening for founding members, before the grand opening, featuring a complimentary session.

Operating hours will be from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.
