Looking to have some rare fun in the snow— many perhaps for the second straight year in January — dozens of families from Farragut, Concord and the area found the hillsides of McFee Park Saturday morning, Jan. 11, to enjoy snowboarding.

From tiny folks as young as age 1, riding with a parent, to middle-age daredevils — and perhaps a few senior citizens — all enjoyed sliding, twisting and even spilling down the snowy inclines.

A handful of residents, meanwhile, enjoyed the McFee snow scenes solely by walking, some with the family dog.
