Couple to open Primo Passo
Their goal is to open Primo Passo Coffee, LLC., a coffee shop that also serves food, at the Cornerstone Building, 2099 Thunderhead Road, Suite 103, in Northshore Town Center off Northshore Drive, in April.
The couple moved to East Tennessee in 2019.
“We’re super excited,” Casner said. “We’re in the pretty early stages. We’re working with architects and engineers right now for our build out.
“We found an obsession with coffee and espresso,” she added. “We’re coffee nerds.”
The couple “strives to provide a top-notch coffee experience in a comfortable, welcoming environment for our community,” Casner said.
The coffee they sell “combines high-quality, perfectly roasted, brewed and prepared with precision and a smile,” she added.
The business is a specialty coffee shop that will specialize in espresso-based drinks, such as lattes, cappuccinos, cortados and straight espresso.
However, it also offers single-origin pour-overs and drip coffee.
“And, we’ll also have a range of teas and non-caffeinated drink options and grab-and-go food options like pastries and yogurt parfaits,” Casner said. “We’re hoping we’ll have bagels or some kind of breakfast options.”
