For the 20th year, Town of Farragut hosted its annual Shamrock Ball in Farragut Community Center, Saturday, March 1, when dads and their little girls dressed up in their finery and shared special moments dancing, making crafts and more.

“It’s going well,” Town Recreation and Event manager Rachel Malone said Saturday. “We’ve got a good crowd.” In the two sessions offered, Parks and Recreation director Ron Oestreich estimated 150 attended the first session from 3 to 5 p.m., and 200 attended the second session, which took place from 6 to 8 p.m.

During those times, girls and dads danced, designed crowns or made keepsake bracelets, had their photos taken and enjoyed refreshments, the highlight of which was a chocolate fountain.
