At 9-4 after 4 Fla. games, baseball Ads at Bearden

After going 2-2 against some rugged Florida competition last week during Spring Break, new Farragut Admirals skipper Garrett Copeland and his guys turn their attention back to local competition.

Specifically Phil Garner Ballpark, home of the Bearden Bulldogs, as BHS awaits a visit from archrival Farragut Wednesday evening, March 26, in a huge District 4-4A contest. Opening varsity pitch comes at 6:30 p.m.

The Admirals will be looking to bounce back from a 3-2 district loss to rival Hardin Valley Academy just before Spring Break.

Florida four

Farragut opened play in the Sunshine State with a 3-1 loss to Buchholz (Gainesville, Florida) Monday, March 17.

One day later things improved, as the Ads defeated Moseley (Lynn Haven, Floriday) 4-1.

A resounding 14-6 victory followed Wednesday, March 19, beating Oakleaf (Orange Park, Florida) 14-6.

A bumpy finish to the trip came Thursday, March 20, as Lincoln (Tallahassee) dominated and won 14-0.
