Annual Biz Expo from Farragut West Knox Chamber April 23
Whether a newcomer to Farragut and Knox County or just want to find out about the area’s businesses, Farragut West Knox Chamber of Commerce is hosting its 3rd Annual 2025 Business Expo.
Presented by Slamdot, the Expo will take place from 1 to 6 p.m., Wednesday, April 23, in Rotchild Catering & Conference Center, 8807 Kingston Pike.
“We are striving to do it every spring to counterbalance our fall annual auction fundraiser,” FWKCC president/CEO Julie Blaylock said. “We did extend the time of the Expo to start an hour earlier … so more people could stop by and attend and network in conjunction with their lunch hour.”
“This year, we really want members to come and meet everybody, so if Chamber members pre-register to attend, there is no cost,” she added. “But they have to be logged into their member portal to be able to access that.”
For non-members, people in the community, pre-registration is two passes for $5. They can register at farragutchamber.com
“This is open to the public,” Blaylock said. “So, if you’re just a new resident and you want to come and see what businesses are here, you can pre-register two (people) for $5.
“On the day of the Expo, at the door, everybody is $5, member or non-member,” she added. “The first 300 people in the door will get a swag bag full of treats from some of our sponsors. Members can add on the swag bag feature at a fee.
“Also, business members who are not able to be at the Expo, even if they don’t have a booth, can pay $100 to get stuff into the swag bag.”
Blaylock said the space at Rothchild’s holds 85 to 90 booths.
“We have some different booth sizes for sponsors,” Blaylock said.
Other sponsors include Junk Galaxy, business sponsor; community sponsors CertaPro Painters, Simply Magical Vacations by Amy, Lending Wise, LLC, Tennessee State Bank, First Horizon and Bentley Home Inspection Services; and media sponsors farragutpress/WFIV 105.3 FM, B97.5 radio station and WVLT-TV; transportation sponsor, Olympus Car and Coach, provides a luxury bus for vendors; and swag bag sponsor is Burns Mailing & Printing.
The event benefits attendees, first, as a great opportunity to network, but also to “get a real good representation of what businesses and organizations in our area can do,” Blaylock said. “More than just grabbing someone’s business card, you really interact with several officials from a business.
“Some of them have demonstrations,” she added. “A lot of them will have swag and things like that, so I think it’s a much more interactive and fun way to network and see what the Farragut West Knox business community has to offer.
“Second, whether or not you are a newer resident to the area, there are new businesses coming here and starting up constantly, whether it’s restaurants, service providers, healthcare, wellness, medical providers, you name it. You never know where that next vendor you’re going to need is going to come from.”
Another positive not to be overlooked: “this is a really great opportunity to meet those people, again, in person,” Blaylock said.
“Start to develop a relationship with them, and you may just find your next favorite vendor or favorite retail shop,” she added.
