• At 4:56 p.m., Friday, May 2, a Knox County Sheriff’s Office unit responded to Ingles, 11847 Kingston Pike, in reference to a male trespassing on the property.

“I spoke with the co-manager of Ingles and complainant, (who) asked that I complete a trespassing report for a homeless male located at the backside of the business who was setting up a ‘camp,’” the report stated.

“I located the homeless male and I identified him,” the report further stated. “… I advised (him) he is trespassed from Ingles and he cannot return or he will be arrested for trespassing. I observed (suspect) gather his belongings and leave the scene.

• At 12:06 p.m., May 2, a KCSO detective received an APS referral for a victim concerning identity theft.

The referral stated the victim’s identity “was used to open some type of account on Dec. 2, 2024 and was closed on Feb. 18, 2025, in which personal information was changed or used during that time frame,” the report stated.
