FHS majorette wins 2 National Titles in S.C.
She won the National Novice Princess Title (15-to-23-year-olds) and the Beginner 2-Baton Title (15-to-23-year-olds). This is her second season with the FHS band according to a press release.
Morgan is the daughter of Jarett and Janet Morgan. Her coach is Mindy Thomas, former University of Tennessee majorette and former FHS majorette.
“She has been twirling competitively for the past five years,” her mother said. “Macy spent all summer training and preparing for nationals. She went to multiple camps this summer to prepare for nationals and the upcoming FHS marching band season, including UT Twirl Camp.
“It was exciting to see that all the time and dedication this year pushed her to be her best at Nationals and win two titles,” Janet Morgan added.
