Two teams remain undefeated

Action commenced Thursday, Aug. 28, as Knoxville Catholic High School continued its two-game road trip with an impressive 28-7 victory over Class 4A power Anderson County in Clinton in a regionally televised contest in Clinton.
The Irish (2-0) jumped out to a 14–7 lead before blowing things open against the Mavericks (0-1) with a pair of touchdowns in the fourth quarter. Quarterback Mack Bartholomew finished 15-for-23 through the air, amassing 287 yards. He threw a touchdown pass to Tyreek King. Bartholomew also had five carries for 70 yards against Anderson County.
