Knox County Schools launches 37th Coupon Book Campaign

Knox County Schools launched its 37th annual Coupon Book Campaign, the district’s largest fundraiser, Thursday, Sept. 4.

This year’s book includes many returning favorites, as well as nearly 50 new vendors.

“As in recent years, purchasers will receive both a printed coupon book and access to a mobile app,” a KCS press release stated. “Each printed book includes a unique code that unlocks many of the same coupons on a phone or mobile device. “In most cases, this means double the savings: one coupon from the book and one electronic,” the release stated.

The cost of the coupon book is $20 with proceeds directly supporting educational programs and initiatives in schools across the district, according to the press release.

“The Coupon Book is a tradition that brings our community together to support schools,” KCS superintendent Dr. Jon Rysewyk said. “We’re grateful to our local merchants, families, students and staff who make this campaign a success year after year.”

The Coupon Book campaign will run through Wednesday, Sept. 24.

Top-selling students will be invited to attend a celebration Friday, Nov. 7, at Main Event, which will feature a special ceremony, lunch and arcade games.
