Everyone is welcome at Concord Yacht Club & Sailing Center Open House
Concord Yacht Club & Sailing Center invites everyone to its 2nd Annual Open House, which is scheduled from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 21, at CYC, 11600 S. Northshore Drive, Knoxville.
“Come explore the people and programs available to the community at CYC,” said Catherine H. Trapp, CYC/CSC community outreach.
The open house will feature a program exhibits presentation, which includes:

• Sailing Club of University of Tennessee;
• Adult learn to sale dinghy and keel boat classes, which take place twice a year;
• U.S. Coast Guard Captain’s classes; and
• Club Sailing Fleet – “no sailboat, no problem,” Trapp said. “Our CSF has keel boats and dinghys for members’ use.”
Partners of CYC include Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, Army Corps of Engineers and Tennessee Valley Authority, which will be on hand at the event.
