Lions tame warriors

Concord Christian School girls soccer played at Christian Academy of Knoxville on Sept. 5. The Lady Lions won the contest, 2-1. The matchup was scheduled for Sept. 4, but rain and thunderstorms postponed the contest.

Sophomore Ellie Leemon scored both goals for the Lady Lions. Concord Christian also recorded its seventh win during the 2025 season and remain undefeated.

Jason Jennings has served as Concord Christian’s girls soccer head coach since 2020. He has a team with senior leadership in 2025, and the sixth-year head coach realized he had a good team entering the season.
