KCSO police reports

• Shoplifting:

A complainant reported March 23 that two female suspects stole merchandise from Kohl’s Department

Store on Kingston Pike. The suspects selected multiple clothing items and exited without paying before leaving in a white SUV. The reported loss totaled $491.

• Attempted vehicle theft:

A complainant reported an attempted vehicle theft March 16 at a residence on Rifle Range Drive. The complainant stated she could not see the suspect well just that they were in dark clothing and she identified it to be a man. He was driving a tow truck with no company name attempted to remove a vehicle but was unable to do so due to limited space. The suspect left the scene.

• Theft:

A West Knoxville resident reported March 28 that her daughters iPhone was taken during an event at a school on Beaver Ridge Road. The device was later recovered after a man stated he found it in the grass and returned it to the victim.

• Burglary:

A complainant reported March 16 that an unknown suspect entered a detached garage on Concord Road through an unlocked door and stole a lawn mower valued at about $5,000.

• Vandalism:

A West Knoxville man reported March 18 that an unknown suspect damaged a chimney at a home on Silver Spur Lane using a BB gun. The damage was estimated at $200, and similar incidents were reported in the area.
