Culbreth steps down as soccer coach

On Monday, June 1, Farragut High School boys soccer coach Bradley Culbreth resigned after six seasons at the helm.

He led the Admirals to a 59-35-12 mark overall, including a 13-2-2 appearance in 2026.

The Admirals finished the season ranked in the top 10 among Class AAA teams in the state of Tennessee for his final season as head coach.

“I want to thank Dr. Bartlett for the opportunity he gave me to coach Farragut soccer,” Culbreth said in a statement to the farragutpress. “This program means a lot to my family. I will forever be grateful to the players, the families in the stands and my assistant coaches for my time at Farragut. I am proud to have been a small part of it and look forward to watching the future of the program.”

In a release, FHS principal Dr. John Bartlett and athletic director Donald Dodgen expressed their thanks to Culbreth for “six terrific years of leading our boys soccer program.”

“I appreciate what he’s done for Farragut High School and the soccer program,” Dodgen added. “He’s done a great job and will be missed, and I hate to see him go but I understand.”

Moving forward, Dodgen noted he will list the position online. He wants the next coach to “keep the program going in a positive direction” following the success of Culbreth’s tenure.
