Turkey Creek serves up good food, good cause

Pinnacle Turkey Creek has announced the return of Taste of Turkey Creek, which will take place from 6 to 9 p.m., Friday, Oct. 9, bringing together the community for an evening of food, drinks, live entertainment and giving back. VIP ticket holders will receive early entry beginning at 5:30 p.m.
“Each year, Taste of Turkey Creek gives us the opportunity to showcase the incredible restaurants and businesses that make the Turkey Creek area special while bringing our community together for an important cause,” said Gabi Walsh, marketing manager for Pinnacle Turkey Creek. “We are especially excited to partner with Breast Connect this year and help support the meaningful work they do for breast cancer patients, survivors and their families right here in our community.”
She said this year’s proceeds from Turkey Creek will benefit Breast Connect, “a Knoxville-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals impacted by breast cancer.
“Breast Connect provides education, mentorship, support groups and connections to resources, helping patients and survivors navigate their breast cancer journey while building a strong network of support within the community.”
Walsh stated Taste of Turkey Creek gives guests the opportunity to sample bites and beverages from a variety of area restaurants and businesses all in one place.
“This year’s participating lineup includes Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, Regal Cinemas, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Lushdrop Bev Co., Whataburger and many more, with additional participants to be announced leading up to the event,” she stated.
The early bird general admission ticket price is $25 per ticket when purchased in advance and the day-of-event general admission is $35 per ticket.
The early bird VIP ticket price is $50 when paid in advance and $100 closer to the event.
“Beyond the tastings, guests can enjoy live music from The Deep Fakes, enter giveaways, enjoy community activations and more throughout the evening,” Walsh stated.
General admission tickets, including access to unlimited tastings from participating restaurants, water and soda, two drink tickets, live entertainment and more.
Guests looking to elevate their Taste of Turkey Creek experience can purchase VIP tickets,which include 30-minute early entry at 5:30 p.m., reserved seating, three drink tickets, special gifts, access to VIP giveaways and additional perks.
