Letter to the editor
Dear Editor,
FARRAGUT FORUM APPLICANTS FOR OPEN BOARD OF ALDERMAN NORTH WARD SEAT
Wednesday, October 7, 2026, 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Farragut Community Center 239 Jamestowne Blvd Farragut, TN 37934.
Come out and meet our neighbors who are vying for the North Ward Alderman position.
I just finished reading ALL the resumes that have been submitted to BOMA. All the candidates have management and leadership in their work experience.
This information comes directly from the resumes on the TOF civic portal. Here is the synopsis. I focused on experience directly related to the TOF.
APPLICANTS:
Michael Bittel - No mention of volunteer commitments with the Town of Farragut.
Dian Hall – Current VOLUNTEER FARRAGUT PARKS AND ATHLETICS COUNCIL
VOLUNTEER Previous Fox Run Homeowners Association board member. Worked homeowners on resident concerns and issues affecting the community.
CANDIDATE FOR FARRAGUT BOMA NORTH WARD - 2026 - Conducted a town-wide campaign focused on listening to residents and neighborhoods concerns and town-wide priorities.
ATTENDED Farragut BOMA and Municipal Planning Commission meetings.
RESEARCHED land use, zoning, development, transportation, infrastructure, stormwater, public safety, economic development and municipal finances.
Sharafat Khan - No mention of volunteer commitments with the Town of Farragut.
Trevor McQueen - No mention of volunteer commitments with the Town of Farragut.
Earle Lawrence Segrest - No mention of volunteer commitments with the Town of Farragut.
Spoke in front of BOMA about McFee Park and Advance Knox. Door knocking on behalf of Alex Cain and Joey Ruffalo
Stacy Walters - No mention of volunteer commitments with the Town of Farragut.
Fox Den HOA board (worked with neighbors to prevent a proposed intersection that posed a safety hazard)
ONLY Dian Hall has regularly attended TOF BOMA and FMPC meetings and volunteered with the Town.
Dian received almost half of the vote in the North Ward. THIS IS IMPORTANT!
If you live in the North Ward and you voted for Dian, please be sure to attend and show your support for her.
If you want to see if the transparency and open communication promised in the August election is going to be real, please attend.
There is no guarantee the Board of Mayor and Alderman will appoint her to the open seat even though it is the logical and RIGHT thing to do unless our community stands up and speaks out.
